University of Bolton: Coronial Law Short Course
Commencing 26th September 2024
The Centre for Contemporary Coronial Law at the University of Bolton is pleased to announce that the highly successful Coronial Law short course will be offered again, starting on Thursday, 26th September 2024.
This course is designed for those involved with or aspiring to work within the coronial service. It provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of coronial law, including training on the application of the law to real-world scenarios.
Delivered by experienced professionals, the course emphasises practical skills to prepare participants for working within coronial courts and handling inquest cases.
While this course is generally aimed at those working around the coronial system rather than coroners themselves—except perhaps newly appointed coroners—it is also suitable for those seeking to apply for coronial positions, coroner's officers, or others involved in the inquest process, such as hospital coronial liaison officers.
